As we enter the final week of the 2021 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, the waves continue to slam the 7-Mile Miracle and submissions continue to pour into the website.
Surfers are sore, sunburned and probably surfed out, but they are not done yet, as we still have one more week to go in the waiting period. The forecast is looking solid until the last day, on January 21st, with back to back swells building up as I write this.
John John Florence just uploaded a few doozies, including this Backdoor barrel on a glass-on single fin, some heavy turns and Sunset, and the whole combo at Haleiwa:

On the Women's side, current rankings leader Carissa Moore is continuing to carve a solid reputation for herself at Backdoor. She also drew some beautiful lines at Sunset:
Local girl Bettylou Sakura Johnson is now on the list of girls tackling Pipe/Backdoor this season, and she have the evidence to show:
